West L.A. College CA sophomore Brenda Rosales-Coria, the reigning California Community College champion in the 1,500 and 5,000 meters, placed fourth in the 1,500 at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA's Drake Stadium. Rosales-Coria clocked a personal-best 4:30.76 to improve on her nation-leading mark among two-year college athletes this season. She will look to improve on her nation-leading 17:15.49 in the 5,000 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
